Abstract: |
The trenches discovered deep and undisturbed soil profiles across much of the site. The investigation revealed a concentration of medieval activity in the southern portion of the site, including the remains of a robbed-out wall, and a substantial boundary ditch, both dated to the 12th-13th centuries. Post-medieval pits, a culvert and some modern demolition rubble were also uncovered on the site. [Au(abr)] |
