Abstract:		 A documentary and archive search and visual inspection of the site was undertaken. Evidence of archaeological remains and artefacts of the Mesolithic, Bronze Age, Saxon and medieval periods had been found in the vicinity of the proposed development area. Nothing of archaeological interest had been recorded within the immediate area of the development and any remains which may have existed will have been substantially damaged by more recent development.
