Abstract: |
The assessment indicated that the scheme would have a slight adverse impact on archaeological remains and suggested that remains which were presently unrecorded would be lost during development, unless steps were taken to record them either in advance or during road improvement works. The design of the improvements should pay particular attention to reducing intrusion into the Scheduled Monument that purported to relate to Kirby Thore Roman fort and vicus. [Au(abr)] |
