Abstract:
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of engineering test pits at a site within an Archaeological Priority Area. 13th-18th century deposits had previously been recorded at the site. During the watching brief, Roman pits and large quantities of building debris were observed. Several undated post holes and a rubbish pit were found. Medieval and later pits and a post-medieval wall were also recorded. [AIP]
