Abstract:
A desk-based assessment was carried out on a proposed bypass route. The assessment identified that the proposed development would have impacted on a known Roman building site, a settlement identified by geophysical survey and the 'Ironstone Mine Workings'. The site was identified as having the potential for ancient mineral extraction, however this would have been impacted by modern quarry activity. [Au(abr)]
