Abstract: |
A watching brief and associated fieldwalking, undertaken during the construction of a nitrate removal pipeline, recovered 226 fragments of worked flint of Neolithic/Early Bronze Age type and pottery scatters of Roman and medieval date. Ditches, pits, pottery and flint scatters and a post-medieval horse burial were revealed during the watching brief. [AIP] |
