Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks for the construction of a library, at a site which lay at the southern extreme of the area of medieval Windsor. A recent cellar, a modern well and three underground structures of reinforced concrete were observed. The structures were likely to have been air raid shelters. [AIP] |
