Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was carried out of a site proposed for a housing development. Various sources were consulted and although there were no archaeological finds or sites recorded within the development site there was considered to be a significant chance of the development site containing Roman settlement remains. A watching brief or programme of trial trenching was recommended. [AIP] |
