Abstract: |
The investigations took the form of trenching and test pitting in advance of a proposed parkland reinstatement scheme. The eastern trenches uncovered a post-medieval boundary ditch and three other linear features, two of which may have been the remains of a trackway of Late Iron Age or Roman date. Test pits to the south-west of Gorhambury House revealed a spread of post-medieval rubble and a possible brick clamp or kiln was also identified. [Au(adp)] |
