Abstract:		 A reistivity of a smaple area of the site proposed for a housing development close to the centre of the medieval village of Kirk Sandall located continutations of linear features already extant on the site. These featrues were probably related to the previous use of the site as a park; pathways or avenues of trees. These in turn possibly reflected earlier land divisions. Other less defined anomalies were identified but no interpretation was possible. [Au(adp)]
