Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out in the grounds of a school. The site lay within an area which was once the Great North Wood of Surrey. By the late 18th century the land belonged to a farm. No previous archaeological finds had been recorded in the area. Four trenches were dug during the evaluation, but no features or finds were encountered. It was concluded that no further work would be necessary. [AIP] |
