Abstract: |
Four trenches were excavated to identify the archaeological constraints to residential development on land at Oakley Hall. The results of the evaluation supported those of an earlier desk-based assessment, with no significant archaeological remains identified within the areas sampled. Two post-medieval ditches, representing the earliest features encountered, with no earlier archaeological remains being noted beneath the extant ridge and furrow cultivation. [Au] |
