Abstract: |
In August 1994 the Governors of St. Nicholas' JMI School, Norton were granted planning permission for an extension to the present school building and playground. The main features found represented ditches with associated pottery finds which could not be more closely dated within 50 or 100 years. No evidence for the use of the land was uncovered. It was concluded that further investigations would rectify this situation. [AIP] |
