Abstract:
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the excavation of 10 test pits within the bounds of the Saxon cemetery. The watching brief revealed that the site had not been truncated by the gravel extraction which had taken place on the adjacent sites to the north and west. However, no features or artefacts dating to the Saxon period were found. [Au(abr)]
