Abstract: |
Trial trenches were excavated on a site close to the medieval settlement of Lambeth Marsh, it was located in an area of open ground to the south east of the historic village. A small test pit excavated in 1978 produced some 52kg of Delftware pottery dating to 1690-1710. However no seventeenth century features were revealed during the evaluation and no evidence of pre-modern features emerged.[AIP] |
