Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out Two archaeological trenches were machine excavated and a heavily truncated ditch [202] was recorded within trench two. It was aligned north-west to south-east and most probably represented an extension of the Perrots Brook Dykes (GSMR 81, Scheduled Monument No. 428), which formed part of the Late Iron Age/early Romano-British settlement at Bagendon.
