Abstract: |
A gradiometer survey was carried out on the site. Much of the data was magnetically disturbed due to the presence of ferrous rubbish above and below the ground level through out the site. Very strong linear anomolies caused by service pipes were also noted. Other identified linear anomolies are probably caused by a ploughed out field boundary and recent archaeological practice. No anomolies of probable archaeological origin were identified. The northern part of the proposal area was unsuitable for evaluation by gradiometer survey. [Au(abr)] |
