Abstract: |
A desk-top study to identifiy the archaeological implication of a proposed school development suggested that no significant recorded archaeological remains would be affected by the development. However, the presence of a Roman road along the northern boundary of the site indicated the potential for previously unrecorded remains of a similar date surviving within the area proposed for development, although this could only confirmed through further investigation.
