Abstract: |
An archaeological excavation was carried out at the site. Clunch extraction and domestic occupation, dating to the medieval period but extending into the post-medieval period was identified. The features included two sunken feature buildings and interrupted enclosure, domestic rubbish pits, post holes and fence lines. In addition quarry pits, tanks and smaller pits and the gullies of two possible trackways were encountered. [Au(adp)] |
