Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a small development which lay within the historic core of East Hanney village. An adjacent road followed the course of a Roman road, and a medieval moat was thought to lie near the site. During the evaluation, a modern rubbish pit was encountered; no archaeological deposits or artefacts were revealed. It was concluded that the development probably posed no threat to archaeological remains. [Au(adp)] |
