Abstract: |
A field evaluation was undertaken on an area of land that lay within the medieval precinct and over the site of a Friary Church. The evaluation trenches identified two east-west aligned sandstone walls, a sandstone slab floor and the remains of a disturbed grave cut. There was considerable modern disturbance due to post-medieval development and previous excavations on the site. [AIP] |
