Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the laying of a replacement water main. Cropmarked features representing enclosure sites had been recorded in the vicinity, and a substantial pond had lain close to the pipeline prior to its backfilling with modern rubble by the present owner. No evidence of archaeological activity was observed during the watching brief. [AIP] |
