Abstract: |
A watching brief during soil stripping at the Welland Bank Pit revealed several ditches, possibly ancient field boundaries, a pair of narrow gullies representing a trackway and an alignment of postholes and a pit. A wooly mammoth tooth and bison vertebra of Ice Age date were also recovered. [Au(abr)] |
