Abstract: |
An archaeological excavation was carried out on the development site. The earliest deposits identified related to raising of the ground level in the late 12th/ early 13th century, enabling the site to be developed. Between 12th-13th and 15th-16th centuries five buildings were constructed on the site. The structural remains of an 18th century barn and 19th century pub were also encountered. [Au(abr)] |
