Abstract: |
Two trial trenches were excavated as an evaluation in response to a condition upon planning permission. Modern building debris, the fragmentary remains of 19th century buildings were encountered in both trenches. Traces of the chalk and brick foundations of the 18th century White Horse Inn were also revealed, though they were heavily disturbed. [Au] |
