Abstract: |
The work comprised the machine excavation of eight trenches, totalling 117.5m in length, with each trench 1.6m wide. Most trenches contained little or no archaeological deposits, although a pit and a ditch both dating to the 18th or 19th century were exposed. No evidence for pre-modern archaeological activity was identified. [Au(abr)] |
