Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out in advance of a new office development. Archaeological remains of regional importance were present in the footprint of the building, and also in the car park to the west. Deeply stratified deposits of medieval and post-medieval date were well preserved in these areas owing to the land filling that took place in the 18th century with the Great Gardens development.
