Abstract: |
As part of a proposal for a further extension to the Hartsfield JMI School in Clothall Road, an archaeological evaluation of the site, which formed part of a Scheduled Ancient Monument, was undertaken. The site lay over the core of a Romano-British settlement. Trenches and test pits were excavated and revealed features and finds dating from between the second and fourth centuries A.D.. [AIP] |
