Abstract: |
Archaeological recording was undertaken during the redevelopment at Braunstone Manor and its grounds. A visual inspection of the building confirmed that most of the original fabric had been removed and therefore, the proposed internal alterations would have no impact on signifcant structural remains. A watching brief during groundworks produced evidence of a Romano-British building of probable 3rd to 4th century date with some Saxon and medieval material also present. [Au(abr)] |
