Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment and rapid buildings appraisal of land and structures was carried out at the former Wren Nest Mill complex. The survey identified that although archaeological deposits of the medieval period and earlier were unlikely to be present on the site, both standing and buried remains of the Mill complex were present and had the potential to provide further information about the development and use of the site. Suggestions for further recording work, including intrusive ground investigations, were made. [Au(adp)] |
