Abstract:
During the sixth season, in 1993 the excavations concentrated on the investigation of the features that pre-date the Georgian farm complex and the detailed examination of the entrance to the moated site, which proved more complicated than previously thought. The excavation of the pre-moat features of the area to the north was completed, where post holes and finds pre-dating the moat were found. A third area was also opened in the north central area of the moated platform as part of the Education Programme. [Au(abr)]
