Abstract: |
Four evaluation trenches were excavated within areas likely to be affected by new building. Three subsoil features of likely archaeological origin were identified, one of which was a probable pit or ditch terminal which contained a small quantity of Iron Age pottery. Moderate quantities of burnt flint were recovered from many layers. Iron Age pottery was present elsewhere in residual contexts only in very small quantities. [Au] |
