Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of groundworks at the site of a sewage pumping station. Prehistoric tools, iron age and Roman occupation and a medieval abbey had been recorded in the area. During the watching brief, the remains of 19th century sewers were observed, and 17th-18th century pottery was found. [Au(adp)] |
