Abstract: |
The four sites all comprised land used for agricultural purposes since the medieval period, and they have remained undeveloped. However, the prehistoric enclosure on the Streatham Campus was only identified from an examination of aerial photographs, and lithics finds also indicated that this area was occupied in the prehistoric period. There was also potential for Roman material being recovered since the St Luke's site almost certainly lay between two Roman roads.[Au(abr)] |
