Abstract:		 A desk-based assessment was carried out ahead of a mixed development. The development would have involved the demolition of the bulk of existing mill buildings. A severe and widespread impact on the locally important post-medieval archaeological remains was therefore identified. A further building recording of the mill complex was recommended as well as archaeological monitoring of any groundwork/and or further evaluation/excavation. [Au(abr)]
