Abstract: |
The planning application was for the construction of a tennis court @50m to the north of the site of Kerswell Priory and so the assessment contained research on the site of the Priory and its environs as a whole and included records of previous survey work.\nThe area to the south, considered to be the site of the Monastic buildings, is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.\nAlthough no definate monastic features were identified in the area for development, two features of interest nearby were identified.\n |
