Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks for a new digital television transmitter building within an existing BBC compound on Whitehawk Hill. The stratigraphy in all of the area examined consisted of modern hardcore and made ground lying directly on the chalk bedrock. No archaeological features or artefacts were observed. [Au] |
