Seven trial trenches were excavated in advance of the proposed residential development of the site. A single gully of Late Iron Age or early Roman date, 6 ditches of Iron Age to early Roman date and a pit which may have been Late Iron Age were recorded. One other pit was undated. [Au(adp)] |
