Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken during a stability survey of the north and west banks and the Observatory and Lucy Tower mounds of Lincoln Castle. Inconsistency in the build of walls and to a lesser extent the construction of the banks was partly attributed to the work of different work gangs and the degree of survival of the Roman fortifications when they were incorporated into the later defences. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
