Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during groundworks to convert farm buildings into a dwelling. The site lies close to the preceptory of the Knights Hospitallers. It was thought that associated buildings may be present. Pipe trenches cut through a layer of chalk and hoggin, which seems to be the hardstanding of the yard. A few pieces of post-medieval brick were recovered. [Au(adp)] |
