Abstract: |
Monitoring of the site strip and the excavation of the foundation trench systems did not reveal any archaeological features, save for the sub-surface remnants of the recently demolished Norwood Lodge. Analysis of ceramic building material from the various contexts did, however, allow the assertion to be made that the complex of buildings comprising Norwood Lodge dated from the late 18th onwards. An unstratified potsherd recovered from the site was 19th century in date. [Au(abr)] |
