Abstract: |
A watching brief during the construction of a single dwelling house and garage revealed rubbish pits and boundary or drainage ditches. Some of the features contained pottery dating from the 13th century onwards. Building material and slag were found and a silt deposit indicated flooding of the site in the 13th century. [Au(adp)] |
