Abstract: |
A programme of archaeological monitoring, during the groundwork associated with the construction of a single storey extension to provide a new kitchen to the existing house, number 4, Church Street, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham, was undertaken. The scheme was subject to a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording as the development was deemed archaeologically sensitive since it was located in close proximity to St. Mary's Church, in an area where medieval settlement may have been present. The archaeological monitoring recorded no archaeological features or dateable deposits within the area impacted by the groundwork for the development. [Au(abr)] |
