Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out on a site located within the Isle of Dogs, a series of Holocene clayey fluvial deposits were observed. These were interpreted as a period of transgression, which was interrupted by a period of erosion, represented by a stream channel. After another phase of transgression and regression the area dried out enough to allow the development for an undated wood peat. [Au(abr)] |
