Abstract: |
The site was located on part of the former HMS Osprey base. The site included the former 'merchants incline' railway cutting. The archaeological record for the Bronze Age burials and the Iron Age and Roman cemetery dominated the site. The naval buildings would have disturbed much of the site and the archaeology may have only survived at the southernmost end of the site. [Au(abr)] |
