Abstract: |
The evaluation was carried out in advance of a single storey extension to Priory Cottage. No archaeological features were identified. A Bronze Age flint borer was located in the topsoil, although this could have been residual. Other finds included: seven post-medievaland modern pottery sherds, small fragments of ceramic building material, one heavily butchered cattle rib and two fragments of post-medievalclay pipe.
