Abstract: |
Five evaluation trenches were excavated on the site, uncovering three inhumations of a probable Iron Age date along with post hole structures, ditches and pits. A substantial Saxon post structure was also excavated, reinforced by a line of stake holes. To the north of the structure was a Saxon forge. [Au(abr)] |
