Abstract: |
Monitoring of the excavation of the foundation trench systems revealed several archaeological features cutting in to the natural sands. A system of south-west to north-east aligned property boundary ditches truncated possible domestic activity associated features and could collectively be dated from the 17th century to the 19th century. In addition, another re-worked boundary ditch, this time aligned north to south, was also identified, however, the lack of any artefacts from this ditch precluded any dating. [Au(abr)] |
