Abstract: |
A desk-top assessment of a proposed development site was undertaken. Palaeolithic finds had been recovered in the vicinity, and the course of a Roman and medieval road with possible iron age origins passed nearby. The site itself was first developed in the late 19th century. It was concluded that no archaeological work would be necessary. [AIP] |
