Abstract: |
The assessment area proved to be relatively sterile of any archaeological features earlier than the medieval period. With the exception of a single sherd of Iron Age pottery and Roman Road, none were noted on the SMR. The medieval period was represented by the medieval hamlet of Sketchley, while a 19th century road demonstrates the post-medieval presence in the area. [Au(abr)] |
